Membership is open to any Christian person or organisation, in agreement with the AddictioNZ Statement of Faith click here who are involved directly or indirectly, with preventing or reducing addiction and compulsive behaviour related problems.

Addictive and compulsive behaviours may include eating disorders, self harm, alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, pornography, relationships, co-dependency, work, spending, nicotine, obsessive-compulsive disorders, or other substance or behavioural compulsions.

Members may be involved in recovery work as counsellors, social workers, nurses, doctors, or other helping professions, or may be involved as pastors, leaders, facilitators, support workers, administrators, or volunteers. They may be full, or part-time, and may be working in a Christian or secular environment.
